Seat belts in rollovers

Rollovers are dangerous incidents that have a higher fatality rate than other types of crashes. The chance you will sustain a fatal injury in a rollover is many times higher if you are ejected, and that's where seat belts can make a difference. While vehicles are designed to absorb the energy from rollover impacts, they offer little protection if seat belts are not used, allowing occupants to be ejected.
